Since writing her first paper-piecing book in 1993, Carol has created more than a thousand paper-pieced designs. Her passion for designing and teaching is evident to anyone who has taken a class from her or learned from her books and DVDs. She was named “Favorite Paper-Piecing Teacher” in 2008 by the readers of Quilters Newsletter magazine. Carol lives with her family in Salem, New Hampshire, where the cold winters give her a reason to stockpile fabric—for insulation purposes!
